Scott County Court Dockets
A docket is the court's running event list for a case. Scott County Docket vs Record
The docket is best for tracking movement. It answers questions like whether a hearing was set, whether an order was entered, whether a charge was disposed, or whether costs were assessed. The full case record is needed when the exact filing, certified order, petition, judgment, or transcript matters. Municipal Scott County Dockets
Municipal docket details can sit outside the main circuit workflow. Scott City Municipal Court is described as a division of the 33rd Judicial Circuit with ordinance-violation jurisdiction. Scott City court sessions include Judge Moss settings at 10:00 a.m. on the first and third Thursday and Judge Southard settings at 5:15 p.m. on the second Wednesday every other month beginning in February.

For municipal citations, the city court clerk is a key fallback when Case.net does not answer the docket question.
Older Scott County Dockets
Older docket documents and certified copies may require the Circuit Clerk. Scott County's record request form asks the requester to state the documents being requested, pay the copy fee before records are received, and use acceptable payment methods. The sound-recording duplication request is separate, costs $25 per hearing, and has a 5-10 business day processing window.
The Circuit Clerk accepts in-person requests at the Justice Center, mail to P.O. Box 587, and courthouse drop-box items addressed to the Circuit Clerk's Office. Mail payments should be money order or cashier's check payable to Scott County Circuit Court, with the case number included. For historical research, the Missouri State Archives or Judicial Records database may be needed if modern Case.net and the clerk's office do not cover the record period.
