Why We Built This Site
Missouri gives the public broad access to many government and court records through the Sunshine Law and court-access rules, but Scott County records are not all held by one office. The Circuit Clerk handles public circuit-court records for civil, criminal, domestic, probate, traffic, small claims, and related filings. The Recorder of Deeds handles marriage licenses and land records. The Sheriff's Office and jail maintain custody and law-enforcement channels, while Case.net provides the public court-search portal for the 33rd Judicial Circuit. We pull together the contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for each of these offices into one place.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
